Read & Publish
Information for authors
On behalf of Palacký University Olomouc, several read & publish agreements with major academic publishers have been negotiated by CzechELib national consortium. For the year 2026:

American Chemical Society - complete waiver of Open Access (OA) publishing fees (APC) in all hybrid journals, Au journals and ACS Omega;

Cambridge University Press - complete waiver of APC in all journals;

De Gruyter - 20% discount on APCs in pure and hybrid OA journals + 2 OA articles only in hybrid titles.

Elsevier - free publication of a limited number of OA articles (tokens) in hybrid titles (gold/full OA journals and Cell Press titles not included).

IOP Publishing - free unlimited publishing of OA articles in all titles (hybrid and Gold OA) with a few exceptions;
- LWW - Wolters Kluwer - only five articles allocated by the first-come, first-served system for the entire consortium.

Oxford University Press - complete waiver of APC in all journals (with a few exceptions);

Royal Society of Chemistry - free unlimited publishing of OA articles in all titles (hybrid and Gold OA);

SAGE - free unlimited publishing of OA articles in all hybrid titles from SAGE HSS Package.

Springer Nature - free publication of a limited number of OA articles (tokens) in hybrid titles at link.springer.com (Springer, Adis, Palgrave and academic journals on Nature.com).

Taylor & Francis - free publication of a limited number of OA articles (tokens) only in hybrid titles.

Wiley - free publication of a limited number of OA articles (tokens) only in hybrid titles.
Important notice:
- Unless otherwise stated, the benefits of the agreements apply only to corresponding authors from the Palacký University Olomouc as a consortium member.
- A corresponding author should use his/her UP e-mail address (@upol.cz), in other cases a correct identification cannot be guaranteed.
- In the case of publishers with a limited number of tokens (Springer Nature, Taylor & Francis and Wiley), please check with the OA administrator at open@upol.cz for OA publishing options.
